چکیده
In this paper, the wideband characterization of propagation channel in circular metallic indoor environments is addressed, regarding Body Area Networks and 5G small cells, an analytical model for dependence mean delay average spread on circle radius, working frequency distance between transmitter receiver being proposed. The derivation initially done analytically, based optical physics, after which simulation results allow to obtain values coefficients. simulator was previously assessed with measurements at 2.45 GHz a passenger ferry room shape. For random positioning receiver, given them, it observed that increase linearly radius; furthermore, increases quadratically distance, while has concave parabolic behavior, maximum equal radius. practical case, Access Point inside room, recommended center, order reduce spread.

Wideband Channel Characterisation for Body and Personal Area Networks
Indoor channel measurements for body and personal area network applications have been conducted between a number of on-body positions and to three nearbypeer locations. Particular attention has been paid to the relation between the channel characteristics and the user’s motion. The results demonstrate how the channel characteristics in BANs/PANs are dominated by the effects of body blocking. Wi...
متن کاملUltra-WideBand Transmitter for Wireless Body Area Networks
The successful realization of a Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) requires innovative solutions to meet the energy consumption budget of the autonomous sensor nodes. The radio interface is a major challenge, since its power consumption must be reduced below 100μW (energy scavenging limit). The emerging Ultra-WideBand (UWB) technology shows strong advantages in reaching this target. First, most ...
متن کاملA Body-Shadowing Model for Indoor Radio Communication Environments
Deterministic propagation prediction methods proposed for indoor radio are useful for estimating the average propagation loss in real environments, which usually have complicated geometries. On the other hand, these methods generally fail to accommodate human body shadowing, which is a significant propagation effect in indoor picocells. Several empirical models to describe body shadowing have b...
متن کاملCharacteristics of the polarised off-body channel in indoor environments
This paper addresses the depolarisation effect in off-body body area networks channels, based on measurements performed at 2.45 GHz in an indoor environment. Seven different scenarios, involving both static and dynamic users, were considered, taking a statistical perspective. The analysis of the cross-polarisation discrimination is performed, as well as the analysis of path loss in co- and cros...
متن کاملRadio Channel Modeling in Body Area Networks
A body area network (BAN) is a network of bodyworn or implanted electronic devices, including wireless sensors which can monitor body parameters or to detect movements. One of the big challenges in BANs is the propagation channel modeling. Channel models can be used to understand wave propagation in and around the human body and they are essential for antenna design, protocol design and the des...
